The Growth

Kelly returns to school a year older, but not necessarily wiser. He's more experienced with juggling college and his old life, but now he's the main man on the team. He's no longer a freshman star, now he's the main event. His new girlfriend Tricia is his safe haven away from the things that derail him from his dreams. She's by his side and loves him for who he is, her only fault is her father. Her father is very demanding and she's always running home whenever he calls. This starts to get to Kelly and he begins to experiment socially once again. He starts by trying a new drug with two upstairs neighbors. This takes him on a trip he'll never forget; his mind and eyes play tricks on him like never before. 

He again meets character after character, as he's now the popular kid on campus. From new football players to an Asian drug dealer, things get going in the wrong direction quickly. Kelly finds himself trying new things and getting gifts only a super star can get, it seems nothing is off limits. Kelly gets drawn back into the life of a rock star, and for a young man in college it can spell disaster.

With Ike facing extreme legal measures, Kelly only has one old friend he trust in the outside world. Spanish Mike was apart of their little crew growing up and even he wants out the street life. On one special night he takes Kelly on an unforgettable journey on his way out, and Kelly is face to face with the reality of human mortality. Ike writes him from inside prison warning him of the dangers in the street’s and trying to let him know the path he's on is the right path.

His partying ways take shape as he climbs the ladder in the basketball world. Kelly ego becomes larger than the stadium he plays in. Though he's still the nice kid willing to help a friend out, he's become a force to be reckoned with and a legend in his own mind. 

His partying takes new heights when he goes into the city with an old teammate who now plays in the NBA. He and the boys are taken out one night to meet the “Super Agent”, and to be wined and dined in the city that never sleeps, New York. The guys find themselves in the VIP section of a top club, with beautiful women, drugs, and alcohol. This leads them back to a hotel and spending an unforgettable night out, with unforgettable women.
